As a popular streaming platform, Twitch offers many features to help content creators engage with their audiences. One of the most effective ways to do this is by conducting a poll during a stream. Polls are a great way to gather feedback from your viewers and get them involved in your content. Here's how to make a poll on Twitch.

Step 1: Sign in to Twitch To create a poll on Twitch, you'll need to sign in to your account. If you don't have an account yet, create one and then log in.

Step 2: Open your Stream Dashboard Once you're logged in, navigate to your stream dashboard. This is where you'll manage your stream and interact with your viewers.

Step 3: Click on the "Polls" tab In your stream dashboard, click on the "Polls" tab. This will open up the polls section of your dashboard.

Step 4: Create a new poll To create a new poll, click on the "Create Poll" button. This will open up a new page where you can enter the details of your poll.

Step 5: Enter the poll details Enter the question you want to ask your viewers in the "Question" field. For example, if you're playing a game, you might ask your viewers which character they think you should play next.

Next, enter the possible answers in the "Answers" field. You can have up to five different answers for your poll.

Step 6: Choose the poll duration Choose how long you want the poll to be active. You can choose from five minutes up to 24 hours. If you want to keep the poll open indefinitely, choose "Never" as the duration.

Step 7: Preview and publish the poll Once you've entered all the details, click on the "Preview" button to see how your poll will look. If you're happy with it, click on the "Publish" button to make it live.

Step 8: Share the poll with your viewers To make sure your viewers see the poll, you'll need to share it with them. You can do this by including a link to the poll in your chat or by adding a poll widget to your stream overlay.

Step 9: Monitor the results As viewers vote in the poll, you can monitor the results in real-time in your stream dashboard. This will allow you to see which answer is winning and how many viewers have voted.
